At Neem Tree Productions, we have done quite a few 70 hour long non- stop running projects and a campaign for Louis Vuitton was one of them.
A super hectic shoot, it was a wild and sleepless weekend where our team had to help produce a print campaign, which was almost like shooting a full-fledged feature film. The scale of the shoot was humungous …crew of about 140 technicians and topnotch professionals like photographer Carter Smith were hired across 8 different countries. The shoot included scouting for the right locations, some of them in the remotest areas of Rajasthan, step-wells (Amber Fort), lakes (Ajabgarh, Jaipur ) situated in the middle of nowhere. The art department was requested to arrange hot-air balloons, custom made Shikaras, horses, elephants, vintage cars and bicycles…. You name it and we had it in our locations and prop-list. It was for a ton of fun shooting against weather-constraints, time-constraints, logistical-restrictions and limitations of shooting with animals monkeys, elephants, snakes ! The crew shot at various locations like the Lake Palace [Jal Mahal], Amanbagh and at Bhangarh - also known as ‘Ghost land’, infamous for being the most haunted place in India. Our ability to package multiple services allowed us to deliver both on schedule and on budget for the client …whilst helping to create a great looking campaign for Louis Vuitton.
