Amer Fort is probably the best-known fort in Rajasthan. It soars above the town of Amer, an easy 10 minute drive from Jaipur.

Jaigarh Fort towers over Amer Fort but is less well known and has fewer visitors. It is a gem for shooting, with stunning gardens, towering arches and some of the best views in Rajasthan.

Many visitors to Jaipur have seen Nahargarh Fort on the hills dominating the city. However, it is less visited than the Amer Fort. Not only does the fort offer amazing views over the city, but the fort’s architecture is stunning – more delicate than the other forts in Rajasthan. The interiors are breathtaking and well preserved.
